Was here yesterday and love their meat and processed meat selection. Love the ambience as well.
Discovered it while we were driving, we havent tried deer meat before. The lady there went us through the different products and how to choose from. They were very friendly and welcoming :) I havent tasted it yet but it was a happy experience for me :)
Very offended when the younger lady said to me, we only allow 4 tastings when I only had 3 so far, I clearly had a packet of produce in my hand ready to purchase and 5 of my friends have already spent alot of money with them. I really don't want to fill up on your freebies. I just want to see if any of your other products are worth buying. Upsetting service. 8/12
I have always enjoyed their pate but today I bought some "biltong". It tasted like old shoes and you needed steel teeth to eat it. I've had South African biltong before and I think they need to work on their recipe. I ended up feeding all of it at $45 per kilo to my dog. I should have just bought my dog the $20 velvet antler treat and been done with it; probably lasted him just as long!
