Cosy little store by a lake. Sells a wide variety of different flavoured nougats. Also sells some wines and nougat liqueur.
One of my favourite place to stop when we were going through Margaret River. The place looked quite unassuming but as you walked to the entrance you see the lake just in front of the shop. It was drizzly when we went but it would have been nice to sit around the side of the lake just to enjoy the view or play a few games they hand on hand.The shop isn't very big but does have a fair selection of alcoholic beverages and a larger selection of nougat. The nougats were soft and tasty and there was a large variety of flavours like limoncello. We tried a few of their wines and the sweet dreams wines were alright. My favourite was the nougat liqueur, which was essentially liquid nougat. Best place to stop for a break and nougat.
The staff has to take all the credit I guess. Extremely helpful and funny at the same time. The rum and coffee nougats were the best to taste with the wines. It was a glorious day for sitting out on the lawn looking over the pond. Beautiful idyllic setting for a fun da with family.
