honest, quality mechanic is all you want?! this is your place!
first service my holden was returned with a near-empty radiator and no one bothered to look at the electrics on my trailer despite being told to 'bring it in'. (don't these people realize it takes time when one is a single female of 50kgs and over 60 years to lug trailers out of carports and back again?). on a rare 'second chance' i took returned again the following year to be told i would receive a phone call to quote the job after an hour's check of the vehicle. there was no phone call after over 5 hours and the reply i ultimately received was: 'how are you today?'!!! For goodness sake Lauren you saw me 6 hours earlier and there was nothing wrong with me! Your reply should have been: 'Sorry for not ringing me but we are a bit behind today and there is a possibility we won't be able to look at your car today." PERIOD! Finally, at the end of a very stormy day with trees all over the road and rain pouring down i was told i was impatient and my car would be left behind the workshop. I found my holden on bussell highway in the dark of the storm, unlocked with the keys on the wheel!!! Hint: customers want clear, concise communications of what is happening not what won't happen (you kept repeating the car won't be ready at 3pm - well when will it be ready?). We want to be able to speak without trying to speak OVER the other person. I would have been quite happy to leave my car over the weekend until monday, but clearly there was no communication. I lectured business communications so i know what i'm talking about. I've also never in 45 years had any mechanic not keep me informed of what was going on and i've always owned two or more cars........ Copper Overload maybe? You sure don't like the truth, but given what Yuval Harari states in his best seller Sapiens I can understand you not wanting to hear or speak the truth!
